As the ever-changing curricula seem to allow less time for technology, the digital divide keeps growing bigger. The skills developed through STEM education are crucial for effective learning, engagement, and motivation. In this session, you will see simple ways to incorporate creativity and critical thinking skills through the use of robotics, coding, Google apps, and other technologies. Each tool can be used to teach, review, and extend the standards that you're already teaching. You will get to see lessons, learn how to use the digital tools yourself, and review funding opportunities and grants to get the technology in your school. (It will be helpful to have a device to download apps if able such as smartphones and tablets.)
